2 members from the Twin Falls Rotary Club attended the Rocky Mountain Rotary Leadership on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Board Member Melinda Anderson and new Rotarian Daphne Mallory attended the class facilitated by Past President Bob Ohlensehlen, Marianne Barker and Will Duke.
Mallory had this to say about the class.
The Rocky Mountain Rotary Leadership Institute this last Saturday was an excellent training event and a great compliment to the Foundation Summit. Each presenter encouraged participants to discuss and share ideas which kept participants interested. We also learned about each other, and how other clubs tackle common problems. The training ended with a mock service project that participants had to create and present according to Rotary guidelines. I learned for the first time that there was such a document called the Object of Rotary. This really spelled out what Rotary was all about, and I would encourage our club to hang it on a banner next to the four way test. If you didn't get to attend this first session, I would encourage you to attend the next one, November 22.- Daphne Mallory
