Pancake Breakfast - 70's-80's

SUNDAY MORNING PANCAKE BREAKFASTS
SUNDAY MORNING PANCAKE BREAKFAST AT THE TWIN FALLS PARK, NEXT TO THE FALLS FOR WHICH THE CITY IS NAMED, HAS BEEN AN ON AND OFF ANNUAL CLUB FUNCTION OVER MANY YEARS. IT HAS BEEN ON WHEN HIG HIGGINS, CHAPPIECHAPMAN, OR SOME SUCH DEDICATED COOK? ORGANIZER WAS AVAILABLE TO PUT IT TOGETHER. , THEN IT CONTINUES FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN A ROW. IT HAS BEEN OFF WHEN NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE OR ABLE TO LEAD THE WAY. THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE IN RECENT YEARS.
AT ANY RATE, IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A POPULAR AND UNIQUE EVENT. IT HAS BEEN UNIQUE BECAUSE IT IS ONE OF THE RARE FUNCTIONS THAT BRINGS TOGETHER THE ENTIRE FAMILIES OF CLUB MEMBERS.
THE BREAKFAST IS HELD DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AND THE TREE SHADED PARK WITH AMPLE PICNIC TABLES IS A COMFORTABLE AND SCENIC LOCATION. FOOD IS SERVED OVER A SEVERAL-HOUR PERIOD SO FAMILIES CAN COME BEFORE OR AFTER CHURCH AND SO LATE OR EARLY RISERS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED. MANY LIKE TO COME EARLY AND STAY AWHILE AS THERE IS PLENTY OF SAFE PLAYING AREA, FOR THE KIDS AND LOTS OF SHADY VISITING AREA FOR THE ADULTS. THOSE WITH A CONSIDERABLE GASTRIC VOID CAN GO FOR REFILLS AS OFTEN AS THEY LIKE. THE PARK SPACE CAN BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE SO THE GROUP ENJOYS PRIVACY.
